14pt;\">Situation<\/span><\/strong><\/p><p>Our client, one of T\u00fcrkiye's leading waste mineral oil recycling facilities, processes waste mineral oils to produce base oil.<br> The facility's engineering design was carried out by a US-based engineering firm, which acted as a solution partner at many critical points.<br> This process required specialized pump solutions to ensure the safe transport of both high-viscosity waste oils and flammable and volatile naphtha liquid.<\/p><p><strong>The main challenges encountered were:<\/strong><\/p><ul><li>Waste oils cannot be efficiently transferred with standard pumps due to their viscous nature.<\/li><li>Ensuring safety measures suitable for flammable and explosive environments (ATEX certification)<\/li><li>Naphtha evaporates rapidly at low temperatures, preventing the risk of cavitation.<\/li><li>Ensuring a completely safe transfer process by preventing mechanical seal leaks.<\/li><\/ul>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-52e3dd3 elementor-widget elementor-widget-wd_text_block\" Series and Verdermag Global Series pumps were integrated into the company's facility.<\/p><p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>Rotan HD Series Pumps for Waste Oil Transfer<\/strong><\/span><\/p><ul><li>Heavy Duty (HD) Series internal gear pumps are designed with special gear tolerances to reliably transfer high-viscosity waste oils.<\/li><li>ATEX certification was obtained in accordance with explosive and flammable environment conditions.<\/li><li>After arriving at the facility by tanker, the waste oils were filtered and safely transferred to filling tanks using <strong>Rotan HD<\/strong> pumps.<\/li><\/ul><p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>Verdermag Global Series Pumps for Naphtha Transfer<\/strong><\/span><\/p><ul><li>Since naphtha is a flammable liquid hydrocarbon that evaporates at low temperatures, <strong>Verdermag Global<\/strong> pumps with low NPSH values were chosen to ensure cavitation-free operation.<\/li><li>A magnetic coupling design was used to completely eliminate the risk of leakage, thus eliminating the risk of leakage associated with mechanical seals and ensuring maximum safety.<\/li><li><strong>The ATEX<\/strong> certified pump group met all the safety criteria of the facility.<\/li><\/ul><p><strong><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Benefits<\/span><\/strong><\/p><ul><li>Thanks to internal gear pump technology, smooth and efficient operation was achieved in waste oil transfer.<\/li><li>ATEX certified safe solutions were implemented for flammable and explosive environments.<\/li><li>Low NPSH levels prevented cavitation risk during naphtha transfer.<\/li><li>The magnetic coupling pump design completely prevents leaks and increases the safety level.<\/li><li>A sustainable and reliable pump solution was provided, meeting all operational and safety criteria of the facility.<\/li><\/ul><p><strong>As of today, our customer continues to manage waste mineral oil and naphtha transfer processes
