PFS Calibration Cylinder

Dosing pumps are often commissioned without calibration. While manufacturers provide a general curve showing pump performance, these curves are only obtained under standard ambient conditions and using water as the test fluid.

However, considering that dosing pumps are used in different chemical applications, a separate calibration is required for each application depending on viscosity, specific gravity, and suction conditions. Furthermore, due to wear and vibration occurring within the system over time, calibration needs to be repeated at regular intervals.

The calibration process for dosing pumps is carried out using equipment called calibration cylinders. Calibration cylinders are made of PVC, polypropylene, and glass materials and have different capacity options ranging from 100 ml to 20,000 ml.

These pieces of equipment offer an excellent solution for checking the performance and accuracy of the pump during periodic measurements, thereby increasing the efficiency and reliability of the system.
