Pulsation Dampers (Dampers)

Air-operated double diaphragm pumps produce a pulsating (undulating) flow , which can lead to increased pressure losses in pipelines .

In pump processes where pulsation needs to be minimized , Verderair pulsation dampers are the ideal solution. When used correctly, they can reduce pulsations by up to 95%.

Verderair pulsation dampers are manufactured from UHMW polyethylene or 100% pure PTFE . Both materials are available in conductive versions for use in ATEX environments . The dampers feature a PTFE or EPDM diaphragm that separates the pump fluid from the air supply .
