B114N Desmi Priming Pump

The DESMI B114 priming pump is driven by a separate electric motor.

The DESMI priming pump is designed for mounting on non-self-priming centrifugal pumps, making the pump unit self-priming.

The filter prevents solid particles from entering the priming pump, while the check valve (H) prevents backflow when the priming pump stops.

If the main pump operates with a positive suction head, the solenoid valve prevents unwanted water flow through the priming pump when both the main pump and the priming pump are stopped.
The discharge line of the priming pump has an auxiliary tank that must be filled with water before starting the system. During suction, air is expelled, while water circulates within the pump, providing sealing and cooling.
