PFS Top Valve Safety Valves

In some cases where electric motor-driven or solenoid-type dosing pumps have a pressure higher than the line pressure, safety valves (relief valves) are used to protect the line from high pressure and potential chemical leakage damage.

These types of pressure relief valves should be installed as close as possible to the pump discharge line. Furthermore, care must be taken to ensure that there is no other valve in the closed position after this valve; otherwise, pressure relief will not be achieved, and system safety may be compromised.
