Packo’s IMO series of submersible cantilever pumps is suitable for transferring liquids at temperatures up to 200°C.

It is specially manufactured for transferring difficult-to-seal liquids such as paint, varnish, electroplating, and hot frying oil.

The operating length of the pumps is 500 mm (= the maximum liquid height above the pump’s suction point).

MCP3IMO pumps are also available in a floor-mounted version with a working length of 900 mm.

Features

  • Standard IEC motor usage: MCP3IMO pumps can also be equipped with NEMA type motors by mounting them on the bearing housing.
  • Connection point for cleaning: Provides a connection point for easy cleaning.
  • The tapered shaft is fully machined: A tapered shaft manufactured with a robust structure is used.
  • High-strength column support pipe: Rigidly maintains the alignment between the motor and the casing, protecting the pump shaft.
  • Overflow bypass: Provides a bypass for excessive flow situations.
  • Cantilever design: Absence of mechanical seals and plain bearings. This results in less downtime and lower operating costs. Since there are no lower bearings, there is no need for lubrication with oil or water.
